Clients & ProjectsSquare HavenSquare Haven is a portal for enthusiasts of video games from Japanese game developer Square Enix. It launched on March 28, 1998 and is still very much in development. The current incarnation combines an accessible design with a PHP/MySQL-powered content management system that can easily monitor, update, and create site content on the fly. The Square Haven CMS as well as all of the various databases, features, and projects (including the people database, music album database, games directory, and forum system) were all developed from scratch in PHP and MySQL and power the 25+ mb of textual data stored in the database. Square Haven is one of the most popular gaming sites on the Internet dedicated to Square Enix, visited by about 900 people a day. A search engine optimization campaign was recently implemented to increase Square Haven's exposure to search engines queries. The design and imagery were developed from scratch; the web site was a re-envisioned presence for Corro. It was also our job to research content for the site and properly convey the crux of the business into language that would catch the attention of the American audience it was intended for.
